Welcome to Casa Paola – your little home in authentic Ticino.

Sometimes you don’t need much on holiday. A place where you can enjoy your morning coffee in peace. A garden where the sun is shining and you can simply do nothing for a while. A cosy place to return to after a day by the lake, in the mountains or exploring one of Ticino’s towns and cities.

That’s exactly what Casa Paola was created for.
This detached 2½-room holiday home of approximately 36 m² is located right in the heart of Sant’Antonino, just a few minutes from Bellinzona. Quietly situated yet centrally located, it offers the perfect combination of privacy, comfort and an excellent base for discovering Ticino.

Your home in Ticino
On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy living and dining area of approximately 13 m². It’s the perfect place to enjoy a meal together, spend a relaxing evening or simply make yourself comfortable after an eventful day. The dining table seats 3 to 4 people, and the small sofa can be converted into an additional sleeping space if needed.

Upstairs, you’ll find the 16.5 m² bedroom. The comfortable double bed consists of two 90 × 200 cm mattresses with a medium-firm feel. There is also a sofa bed, a small table with a chair and a comfortable armchair.

For relaxing evenings, there is a TV with Google TV and Zattoo. Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower and a washing machine are, of course, also provided.
A garden made for relaxing

One of the special features of Casa Paola is its approximately 120 m² garden, which is shared with the owner. You have your own cosy area and can enjoy the peace and atmosphere of the garden at your leisure.
A lovely dining area awaits you under the pergola. There are also sun loungers, a hammock and a gas barbecue that you are welcome to use.

Start your morning with a coffee from the Nespresso coffee machine. The appropriate capsules are provided for you. Perhaps enjoy breakfast under the pergola while the day slowly gets started.

And in the evening?
After a day at Lake Maggiore, a hike through the Centovalli or the Maggia and Verzasca valleys, or a trip to Ascona, Locarno, Bellinzona or Lugano, simply come back, stretch out in the hammock and end the day with a glass of Ticino wine.

Perhaps a regional Merlot from Terre di Gudo, Cantina Il Cavaliere or the wine-growing areas around Contone and Camorino.

Central yet peaceful
Sant’Antonino is a special place for me because you don’t stay right in the middle of a classic tourist centre. Instead, you experience Ticino in a quieter, more authentic way and closer to the everyday Italian way of life.

At the same time, you are very well connected. The nearest bus stop is about a 5-minute walk away. Bus line No. 3 takes you to Sant’Antonino railway station in approximately 5 minutes, and from there you can reach Bellinzona by train in around 15 minutes. Bellinzona itself can also be reached directly by bus, with the journey taking approximately 37 minutes.

Shopping facilities, Bellinzona Sud and the main transport connections are also very close by. (Migros Centro Sant’Antonino, Jumbo, OBI, Müller and much more).
If you arrive by car, you can park it for free directly on the property at Casa Paola.

Arrive and feel at home!
Check-in is simple and flexible. You can check in independently using a key safe. Your personal access code will be provided to you in good time before your arrival.

Casa Paola accommodates up to three people and can be booked for a minimum stay of two nights. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
Please note: Casa Paola does not have air conditioning. However, a fan is available for warm days.

It is important to me that you don’t feel like you’re staying in an anonymous holiday apartment at Casa Paola. I want you to arrive, feel comfortable and have the feeling that, for a few days, you can call a little piece of Ticino your home.
Casa Paola is not a luxury hotel. It is meant to be something different: a cosy, personal place to switch off, breathe deeply and enjoy life.
